What Is This

A brief introduction is likely needed of what I hope to accomplish with this blog and who we are.

For starters I really do not know much about blogging and even less about how to build websites/blogs, but I wanted to start sharing my experiences and also my passions. With this in mind please forgive me for what will likely be random trails of thoughts as I get more experience with this.

With this blog I will largely be focusing on two things. The first area and something I have wanted to do for quite some time is share our experiences with traveling as a family. This appears to be a nice transition into who we are (perhaps more details to come on this later). My family consists of 2 little girls and one wonderful wife. The girls at this time are 5.5 and 1.5 years olds. When we first started to travel with our youngest (at nine months) we ran into so many obstacles in trying to make, what I thought at the time, was a great experience. Out of this came my book idea “Traveling Through the Ages” (still just and idea), where I wanted to share our experiences and tricks and tips we have discovered while traveling. Our travels consist of Disney Parks, Disney Cruise, camping, lake vacations, and various other trips.

The second area of interest I am excited to share about it my desire to get into aquaponics. This interest of mine really started when my wife and I traveled to Walt Disney World in 2006 and rode the Living With the Land ride, which to this day remains one of my favorite. What draws me into aquaponics is the self sustaining eco system which can be built and the ability to scale that up for commercial use.

This is probably it for now. I am hoping future posts will include more photos and hopefully more information you find both useful and as interesting as I do.
